I understand that the tray extender is stuck, is that right?
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Please click here for the part of your printer.
Based on the photo shared by you, I believe Part number 11 in the article is stuck, is that right?
If so, gently apply force and try to close the paper tray extender.
If part number 10, paper tray is stuck, remove the paper.
Check of obstructions and install it back.
If the issue persists, please contact our phone support team to have it serviced.

Spraying lubricating on the paper tray extender at the pivot point works!
Simply spray 3-in-1 oil above and below the pivot point of the pullout bar extender and waited a few minutes. The oil should free the stuck paper tray extender. It will then move to the closed position easily, but do not take a chance and ever use it again. Leave it in the closed position from now on.
