After the recent Windows 10 upgrade I lost connection to my WiFi Direct (DIRECT-B1-HP OfficeJet Pro 8740) connection to my printer. I removed the printer rebooted and tried to reinstall the WIFi Direct connectio. It appears to restablish the connection but never creates a print queue and notes in "Devices and Printers" driver not available. I've completely removed the printers and software completely several times and started from scratch but I get the same result each time.

Hi,

Please install further updates for your operating system, the latest version is 1809 and there are crucial fixes with that release.

 

From the start menu click the Gear icon and select Updates & Security, then click Check for Updates and install any available updates.

 

Repeat this process till the check button returns that your Windows is up to date, then reinstall the HP software if you experience any further issues.

Well I've gotten the system all up to date and It seems to have made no difference. I've tried to add the printer and it loads but then fails to create a queue.I start hereI start hereIt ends hereIt ends here
