can't clear memory full on old 3015 all inh one

I can't clear the Memory Full message on my very old  Laserjet 3015 All-In-One. "Delete all Faxes" in the printer"s menu does not work.

Config report states 5.76 MB is available of 32 MB installed memory. I am using Windows 10 on a desktop.

 The printer is using PCL 6. Sometimes the first page of a multipage document prints correctly but is followed only by a single page that says "pcl XL error, Insufficient Memory, ReadImage, Position 36".

Help would appreciated as the printer is mechanically sound even after about 20 years!
