That doesn't work for me. EVER
The printing appears to stop, but doesn't. Here's an example:
I send 2 pages to printer. As it starts to print, I realize that it is going to print two-sided, and I don't want that. So I press the x on the printer control panel to "cancel". The printer releases to me the paper it had printed (one side) and appears to stop. But THEN it starts printing AGAIN and prints both pagest two-sided.
this has happened repeatedly - very annoying.

Hi @SusanKay7,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand from your posts that you are having an issue with your Hp Officejet 8620 Printer not canceling all the jobs. I go right on the printer and clear the print queue. Removes them all together.
Try to follow this when Print jobs are stuck in Print Queue.
I hope this helps you.

What in the heck is wrong with HP designers that they would think ALL print jobs are remote, when in fact, I'd bet you money that 99% of them are right by our computers. Total design flaw and STUPID. Next printer after a couple of decades will NOT be an HP. I will verify that whatever I do buy has an easily accessible stop print function on the front of the printer. Just wasted a ton of paper (some specialty paper) and ink due to printer issues.
