Hi @Jack1229,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E0 and E1 error codes on your HP DeskJet 2852e printer indicate a paper size mismatch or an issue with the paper settings. Since you've already tried basic troubleshooting, follow these additional steps.
Fixing E0 & E1 Errors on HP DeskJet 2852e
Check Paper Settings in Printer Software:
- Open the HP Smart app or Printer Settings on your computer.
- Navigate to Print Preferences > Paper/Quality.
- Make sure the paper size matches the paper loaded in the tray (e.g., Letter or A4).
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power for 1-2 minutes.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check the Cartridges:
- Since you’re using an onn. 67XL (a third-party cartridge), try reinstalling the cartridge.
- If the issue persists, try using an HP original 67XL cartridge, as HP printers sometimes reject third-party ink.
Manually Align the Printer:
- Press and hold the Resume button (⚠️) for 5 seconds to print an alignment page.
- Follow the instructions in the HP Smart app to complete alignment.
Reinstall the Printer:
- Remove the printer from your computer (Windows: Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners > Remove).
- Reconnect the printer via WiFi or USB and try printing again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
