Hi @Acer59,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for the details! Since your HP printer is connected to Wi-Fi and can print a test page directly from the printer but not from your computer, the issue is likely with the printer driver, connection settings, or print queue on your PC.

Let’s walk through a step-by-step fix:

Step 1: Set the Printer as Default

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Click your HP printer > Set as default.

Step 2: Clear the Print Queue

  1. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  2. Right-click your printer > See what’s printing.
  3. Cancel all documents in the queue.
  4. Try printing again.

Step 3: Restart Print Spooler Service

  1. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Find Print Spooler, right-click > Restart.
  3. Try printing a test page again.

Step 4: Reinstall the Printer

  1. Go to Settings > Printers & scanners.
  2. Remove your HP printer.
  3. Click Add device to reinstall it.
  4. If it doesn’t show up, click Add manually and select via IP address (you can find this on the printer’s network settings page).

Step 5: Install or Update HP Smart App

  1. Download or open the HP Smart app HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store.
  2. Add your printer and try printing from there.
  3. The app can also run diagnostics and update firmware.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
