Hi @james622,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Let’s troubleshoot your issue with printing from your HP Desktop to your HP DeskJet 4155e printer. Here are some steps you can follow.
Check Printer Connections:
- Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your computer.
- Verify that there are no loose cables if you’re using a USB connection.
Set Printer as Default:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Find your HP DeskJet 4155e in the list and click on it.
- Select Manage and then Set as default.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both your computer and the printer to refresh connections.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP support website and download the latest drivers for the DeskJet 4155e.
- Install the drivers and follow the setup instructions.
Check Printer Queue:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP DeskJet 4155e and select See what’s printing.
- If there are any stuck print jobs, clear them and try printing again.
Printer Troubleshooter:
- On your computer, go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Printer and run the troubleshooter.
Check Printer Status:
- Ensure that the printer is not displaying any error messages or warnings.
- Make sure there is paper in the tray and ink levels are sufficient.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, let me know if you encounter any specific error messages or problems during the troubleshooting process!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
