DESKJET F4280 ALL-IN-ONE

I have the same problem as described in the following post:

 

Just inserted a new Black 300 cartridge into my DESKJET F4280 ALL-IN-ONE printer and in the quantity tab it has an E, in the gauge for how much ink is in the cartridge it is FLASHING ORANGE and at the bottom!

I have tried everything from taking it out then putting it back in, unplugging the printer whilst still on, turning it off for 10 minutes but I'm still sitting here with this problem!

Cartridge numbers in the software are: HP 60, 60 XL. However, these cartridges are no longer in production. There is now HP 300, but the printer cannot see them.

 

Someone please help if you have had this problem but it's now resolved, any help is good!

Is your old (empty ) black ink cartridge 300 or 60?

Is your currently installed colour ink cartridge 300 or 60?

 

The difference in 300 and 60 ink cartridges are in the region of the world they are intended to be sold.

300 are for the European market, 60 are for the US market

Yes, both old (black and color) are 60.

I'm in Europe and bought 300 now.

 

How can I change the region in the printer software then?

You will need to get 2 ink cartridges 300 black and colour and send a message on HP support Facebook team

I have already contacted HP support, but no one can solve this problem.

I would like to resetting the regionalization of my printer.

I have installed the latest available drivers for DESKJET F4280 ALL-IN-ONE. I have also two cartridges (black and color - HP 300) purchased in Europe.

Unfortunately, I can not open the window to Set New Region.

I was told to download HP Smart App, but firstly I can not download it, secondly HP Smart is not compatible with my printer. So I do not know what else can I do?
