I wasn't able to use my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 All-in-One Printer for more than a year due to Ink Cartridge incompatibility. I used the original ink cartridge til it ran out. The original cartridge is hp 662 and is not available in the Philippines. I tried to plug in hp 678 but the printer rejected the cartridge. I'm well aware that the device is out of warranty. I would like to ask how to reset the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 All-in-One Printer and change the cartridge preference from hp 662 to hp 678.

I understand you moved, and the printer is not accepting the new region cartridges.
NOTE: regional reset is attempted on a best-effort basis, it might not work on all printers.
We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
