Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Printer says "Problem with printer or ink system ..." and NOTHING I do will clear this message so I can see the Cartridge status screen.  I have tried everything - powering down, USB moved, Scan Doctor, clearing all jobs, print spooler, unplugging power cord, reseating all cartridges.  THIS IS THE LAST HP PRINTER IN MY OFFICE...
