Configuration problem 0x8007007e when I try to print online. I can print from a MS word program or a pdf
on acrobat but the printer will not print any online document or illustration. Any suggestions?

Now it looks like internet explorer. One forum indicated if you do a MS update, this problem can occur. Also a few days ago
I did a computer optimization and defragmentation. Don't know if any of these would cause the problem.

Try uninstalling the web browser that you aren't able to print from and then install it back.
Let me know if this helps.

I reviewed a MS community forum on uninstalling and reinstalling Edge and it did not seem that easy for
somebody who is not a computer programmer. There were many steps involved and for some people it was a challlenge
reinstalling it. I don't want to have to write in complex computer files not knowing what other damage may occur.
If I go under the control panel and just "uninstall" edge how can I reinstall it without problems.
I did put the internet explorer as a web browseer but still am unable to print online and have the same configuration problem.
Thanks for your help.

You can reinstall it by downloading it from Google and you can do the same for internet explorer.

@H350, Welcome to HP Support Community!
To provide you with an accurate solution, I would like to know the following-
May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
What is the exact error message when you try to print?
Which application are you trying to print from?
Keep me posted for further assistance.
