If you have not done so previously, download-save-install the Full Feature Software for your Operating System / version.

If the Resize option fails to provide the size you want, use Scan instead to save (scan) the photo into the computer.

- Using the HP Smart App (Android, Apple iOS) (Not all features and options are supported in Mobile Printing apps.)
After the image is scanned (and saved) into the computer, use the appropriate program for the type of file (example .jpg) to open the image file, set the job parameters (paper type, source (tray), Scale (percentage of 100%), and paper size.
Details on how to "get what you want" depend on the Operating System / version and your available software for managing / printing photos / images.
