How do I delete the Fax so it will only print only?

If you wish to disable the fax feature on your HP OfficeJet 5258 All-in-One Printer so it will only print, follow these steps:

Disable Fax Feature via Printer Control Panel

1. Turn on the printer: Ensure your HP OfficeJet 5258 is powered on.
2. Access Setup Menu:
   • From the printer's home screen, use the control panel to navigate to the setup menu.
3. Navigate to Fax Settings:
   • Go to Fax settings or Fax setup.
4. Disable Fax Reception:
   • Turn off the Auto Answer feature to ensure the fax machine does not automatically receive faxes.
   • You may see options such as "Off" for Fax functions. Select these to disable all fax-related activities.

Remove Fax Software via Windows Settings

1. Open Control Panel:
   • On your Windows 11 PC, open the Control Panel. You can search for it using the Windows Start menu.
2. Program and Features:
   • Navigate to "Programs and Features" or "Uninstall a program".
3. Find HP Software:
   • Locate the HP OfficeJet software in the list.
4. Modify Installation:
   • If applicable, choose the option to modify the installation. You can then uncheck any fax-related components from the HP software suite.
5. Uninstall Fax Software:
   • Alternatively, you can choose to uninstall the fax software entirely if separate from the printing software.
