desk jet 2652 wont print

ive had my desk jet 2652 for a few years now and have only used it twice it has been a very long time since ive used it so now when i try to print somthing it acts like its trying but nothing shows up on the paper. i know its not out of ink because like i said ive only used it twice. i tried removing the ink cartridges and seeing if there was somthing in the way or somthing but i didnt see any problems so i blow on them and in the printer and put them back still not working.

yeah i think i found the problem. i hadnt realized the cartridges were meant for one use only.

Mine also doesn't print, but everything is fine and the ink cartridges are for more than one use.
