@liberty06, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand you're seeing a "device busy" message when trying to print from your HP DeskJet 2755e on Windows 10 (64-bit). Let's walk through some steps to resolve this:
Restart Devices
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your computer.
- After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check for Print Queue Issues
- On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your HP DeskJet 2755e and select See what's printing.
- If there are stuck print jobs, click Printer > Cancel All Documents.
Run HP Smart Diagnose & Fix
HP Smart has a built-in tool to detect and fix common issues:
- Download or open the HP Smart app.
- Go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Check Printer Connection
- If you're using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your PC.
- You can also try connecting via USB to test if the issue persists.
Update Printer Drivers
- Visit the HP DeskJet 2755e Drivers Page and download the latest drivers for your printer and OS.
Reset the Printing System (if needed)
If the issue continues:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
- Remove the HP DeskJet 2755e.
- Re-add it using Add a printer or scanner.
