Hi @Freda16,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble with the print queue. Here’s how to fix the print queue error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8122e All-in-One Printer running Windows 10 (64-bit):

1: Use HP Smart’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  1. Download or open the HP Smart app: HP Smart - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
  2. In the app, click the wrench icon (bottom left).
  3. Select “Diagnose & Fix” and follow the on-screen steps.

2: Manually Clear the Print Queue

Follow these steps if the Diagnose tool doesn’t work:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  2. On your PC:
    • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    • Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Stop.
  3. Open File Explorer and go to: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS
    • Delete all files in this folder.
  4. Go back to Services, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.
  5. Restart your computer and turn the printer back on.

Thankyou very much for your helpful suggestions. My printer is now working properly as I fixed it by following suggestions from someone else who responded just before you did, but please accept my thanks anyway.
