I would like to use my deskjet 3820 with my new computer, but unfortunately I cannot find a driver compatible with Windows 8.

Is there a workaround or an alternative solution for this?

Hi,

I afraid your printer is too old and not compatible with Windows 8, as well there are no workarounds which may allow using the printer.

 

The following document clearly state this limitation, as well that it cannot be overwritten:

Drivers from HP DeskJet 970Cse (Windows Update) is compatible with HP DeskJet 3820 on Windows 7/8/10.

This solution is checked by me.
