Deskjet 3056A
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP community. I recently installed a "new in box" Deskjet 3056A printer, that I had laying around for a couple of years or so, on my HP Pavilion laptop with Windows 10 64bit. Again, this printer was unopened and purchased a couple of years ago, but I never opened and installed it until now. I had to download the drivers from the HP website due to the installation cd it came with being incompatible with my Windows 10 os. The issue I am currently stumped on is I can't seem to get ePrint to work, so I can utilize the printer from my smartphone etc. etc. The error message I am seeing on the printer's display screen is as follows : "The printer could not connect to the Internet. Check Internet connection. Press OK to retry or Cancel to exit". I of course push retry and still the same error message. My home wifi connection is connected and working just fine. What is the solution to this problem? Also another question I have is the only drivers that were available on the HP website is the driver for the "HP Deskjet 3050A"  and no drivers for my "HP Deskjet 3056A" were available on the site. Is this the correct driver anyway?

The driver you have is the correct one, the Deskjet 3050a driver covers the entire Deskjet 3050 series.

The ePrint services were discontinued September 1, 2016.  There are some alternatives listed in the document here.
