I am just looking for help with how to edit the address book in the printer. I can add easy enough, but can't seem to find what I need to delete. This is a very small address book, holding maybe 10 email addresses. Thanks for the help.

Hi @dwolf23,
Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that you wanted to know how to edit the address book of your HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer.
Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
1. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123
2. Choose the "Scan" Tab
3. Choose "Email Address Book" (If a message pops up about the Security Certificate being out of date, click on ignore.
4. Here in the address book, you will be able to delete & edit a few of the email addresses)
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.

I put the IP address for the printer into my browser, but there is NO scan tab anywhere to be found, so I still cannot access the address book in the printer. I have searched all over HP website for information on how to get to it, but even in the product manual, absolutely nothing about this at all. How to initially put email addresses into it is not even addressed. It would seem to me that somehow, there is a failure in the way these manuals are even being produced with all the information relevant to the product.
