I have had this printer for 2 years and gradually over time it refuses to feed cardstock paper.  I have tried every paper setting in media menu with no results.  It started with a delayed feed so everything was printed 1/2 on the paper now it mostly just gets ink all over the rollers and  only 1/4" of print ends up on the paper.  Makes a mess and wastes ink and paper.  Any idea how to fix this or are the roler heads just not working anymore?

Might be time for a good cleaning.

The paper doesn’t jam it just won’t feed cardstock. Regular office paper works perfectly. I’ll try cleaning the rollers but I don’t think it’s going to help. I already updated & installed new drivers and that made no difference. Phone tech tried to charge me a fee to download and install new drivers saying it was the only way to fix this on a Mac since my warranty expired. That was total BS. This is a problem that has slowlycontinued to progress over the past 2 years leading me to believe the rollers just go bad on these if you use a lot of cardstock like I do.

You could be right, of course.  Rollers and / or other components might be worn on two year old printer; if this the case, cleaning the unit will likely not provide the results you seek.

I agree: Reinstallation of drivers is too easy to pay to have it done, regardless of whether it would fix a problem.

Good luck.
