Product: hp envy 5055 printer
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

After several years. of working, my printer does not connect to teh internet.  I followed virtual agent.  Now I can't do anything with the computer. I tried  typing in teh password. to my router and it won't accept that.  For example. it  enters. 5 not 6. help.  I am not normally  a compter clutz.

This is shad again. My computer and my printer are both connected to the same internet router.  I  can now print but I can not scan. The printer says I need to add HP software.  But until yesterday I could scan with no problems.

Which application are you trying to scan from?

Is there any error message when you try to scan?
