Envy 5542 reports the tray is empty or open but the tray is loaded and closed.

It turns out that if you have used the photo tray (even by accident) that you have to have paper in both trays.  So it turns out that the tray WAS EMPTY!  I bought some photo paper and put some in the tray.  That fix the problem.  I wash I could just select the other tray, but that isn't possible.

Check the paper tray, if the plastic part breaks off the printer will report an open tray.
