So thank you 🙂

Sorry, I should have put video up earlier. I only recent got an inkjet type printer and have not had it long enough to have to have  to clean the heads.  I have discovered that xl, xxl and xxxl are just the exact same size ink cartridges but are not filled all the way depending on what I want to pay for them.

Can you get a printer status report as described on page 7 of the users manual?

I can press the 'I' (Information) and get a no-print = it sounds as if it's printing, but not a single black spot.
Nothing appens when a press the arow-down + the 'x' - nothing at all.

Sorry - I missed the information about holding the 'I' down for at least 3 sec - so I have done that now.
And then I can press the arrow-down + x - and get a no-print = it sounds as if it's printing, but... nothing on the paper...

The printhead is not locked in correctly or it cannot reach the paper somehow.  Make sure the electrical contact of the cartridge does not have a protective film left on it.

Does you ticket venue accept image of tickets on smart phone?

Thanks for you suggestion.

As I did write: The problem began suddenly, and I find it a little hard to understand, how the electrical contact just suddenly souldn't  fit properly. (Sorry for my English - I'm an older Danish woman 🙂 )
But I did change the cartridge to see - hopefully - that it would save the problem, but it remains.
I have checked the new cartridge - there is no film on it, and I have locked it in the same way, as I always do.

BTW: I have had HP-printes for more than 20 years - but through the last years - and printers - it has become more and more difficult with more and more problems. The 'smarther' they get - the more problems, as I see it and as my experience are.

You write at last: "Does you ticket venue accept image of tickets on smart phone?" - I really do not understand it.  I use a pc/labtop, when I want to print something - and I use my pc writing here 🙂

Does the paper feed through?  Can you see the print head move?

If no paper moves then possibly you just need to clean the paper feed rollers.

If the head does not move but the paper feeds then probably time for a new printer.

. May be cheaper to buy a replacement printer than to repair it.

What I meant about the tickets is you may not need a printout of the ticket if the image of the tickets can show up on a smartphone.

Oh yes - there is nothing wrong according to the paper - it runs fine through, but blanck - no paper jam.

I can't see the print head move, if I try to lift the lid, then it will just stop. But I can hear that something is moving inside the printer, when I try to print.
The printer is from December 2023, so it should not be 'old' now

Aha - now I get it, what you did write about tickets - but I have to show these in a printed version 🙂

When you hear it start to move, lift the lid and then use a pencil to substitute for the plastic latch that allows the printer to lwork

I was watching this video.  Possibly something is stuck only when the lid is shut.  Just guessing
