my envy 6258 photo printer is less than 2 months old
a few weeks ago i installed a new color cartridge it was fine for a few weeks
i printed today then after page printed i got error
cartridge problem remove and reinstall cartridge
i tried a dozen times to reinstall cartridge
i tried cleaning contacts
I checked firmware its up to date
i tried unplugging printer and letting it reset.. the cartridge is the correct one.. it was sent to me as part of instant ink program
black ink which is ok says 64 but color ink says 64/ 303 doesnt work .. sccording to hp page 303 is for mideast and africa not usa.. could prob be hp instant ink sent wrong color ink? if they did they need to send correct color ink 64. instant ink does not ship till you are almost out.. color is hardly used- i cant print any thing color or black till this is resolved. im stuck
it says replace cartridge.. I CANNOT REPLACE CARTRIDGE hp wont send another till this is used up..But . I cant use it it , it may be defective.. Now its gone offline as well.. How do we fix this UNIT IS LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OLD. INK WAS SENT TO ME BY HP LESS Than A MONTH AGO.. NOT WOrking

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
HP 64/ 303 is a correct ink cartridge for your printer. The Instant Ink cartridges are different from the regular ink cartridges.
Try these steps - HP ENVY 6200, 7100, 7800 Printers - Ink Cartridge Errors
If you have already performed the steps and if the issue still persists, please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
