My printer is flashing an error code message: 0xb808cf28. None of the controls respond to touch. I cannot restart ther printer. I have not unplugged the printer as of now.

To resolve the error code 0xb808cf28 on your HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

Before diving into more complex troubleshooting, try restarting the printer by power cycling it:

  1. Turn off the printer using the power button.
  2. Unplug the printer from the power outlet.
  3. Wait for 30 seconds to 1 minute to allow the printer to fully reset.
  4. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

This action can often resolve minor issues by clearing temporary glitches.

2. Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions

Error codes sometimes appear due to physical obstructions or paper jams:

  1. Open the printer to check for any paper stuck in the input tray, output tray, or inside the printer.
  2. If you find any, carefully remove the paper and check for any small pieces of paper that might be stuck.
  3. Also, check for any other obstructions that could prevent the printer from functioning correctly.

3. Reset Printer to Factory Settings

If the error persists, you may need to reset the printer to its factory settings:

  1. **Press and hold the "Cancel" button for 10 seconds or until the printer responds (if you can access the printer screen).
