After holding for 1 hour- and finally talking to a tech, they will send me a refurbished

HOW EVER- they couldnt verify my warranty 😞

so must wait until tomorrow-

we have the old empty cartridges in just no ink-

will that make the difference?

yes. sorry, but in my opinion, you could end up with the same results. The printer needs the color cartridges in order to run its calibration procedure.

OK will keep this in concideration- i spoke to them again this morning and they are shipping a refurbished printer -

will have to order new cartridges to keep it from happening again 😞

just turn off the color option i guess which we did as soon as it ran out of color ink and we found out it was going to cost 700.00 to get new cartridges....sigh...

since we rarely use color perhaps we can sign up for the hp ink program- not sure how that works ...

for just color....

oh why is life so difficult lol
