Hi @Zozo2005,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The error code OXC4EB9556 HWLMICCI2 C on HP printers typically indicates a firmware or hardware-related issue, often involving the printhead, ink system, or internal electronics. Here are some general steps you can try to resolve it:
🛠️ Fix Steps for Error Code OXC4EB9556
- Power Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
- Turn the printer back on.
- Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions
- Open all access doors and remove any paper jams or foreign objects.
- Make sure the carriage can move freely.
- Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges
- With the printer on, open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove all cartridges and inspect them for damage or ink buildup.
- Reinsert them securely.
- Update Printer Firmware
- Go to HP’s official support site and enter your printer model.
- Download and install the latest firmware update.
- Reset the Printhead (if removable)
- If your printer has a removable printhead, take it out and clean the electrical contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.
- Reinstall it and restart the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
