@Selim78, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xc4eb8000 HW_MICCI2_V12 on your HP OfficeJet 200 Mobile Printer usually indicates a firmware or hardware failure—often related to the ink system, printhead, or internal electronics (like the formatter board). Since your printer is new and won’t even turn off, here’s what you can try to resolve it:
Perform a Hard Reset
Sometimes, this alone can clear temporary firmware glitches.
- Remove the power cable from the back of the printer while it is still powered on (yes, even if it's frozen).
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cable directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or UPS).
- Reconnect the power cable to the printer and try turning it on.
💡 If the printer was battery-powered at the time, remove the battery before this step and repeat the process.
Check for Obstructions or Jammed Carriage
- Open the printer access door and gently check:
- Are the cartridges properly seated?
- Is the carriage moving freely left and right?
- Remove any visible paper scraps or ink buildup.
Update the Firmware (If It Powers Back On)
If you're able to get the printer to start:
- Connect it to your PC via USB.
- Go to the HP Software & Driver page for the OfficeJet 200.
- Download and install the latest firmware update.
Try Printing with USB Only (No Network)
If the error appears during or after a wireless setup, it might be tied to a corrupted wireless configuration:
- Disable wireless on the printer (if possible).
- Connect with USB and try a print job.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
