I keep getting event 69556 when I send a print job to the printer. The printer will print one partial page and then throw an error. If I turn off/on the printer, it will print, but sometimes, it will only print a partial page.

Hi @Daveengineer7,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your HP DeskJet 4155e printer. Event 69556 is a common error that typically indicates a communication issue between your printer and the device you're printing from. It may happen due to network problems, print spooler issues, or incorrect printer settings.
- Is your printer connected via Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth?
- Are you seeing any specific error codes or messages on the printer display when this happens?
- Does this issue occur with all print jobs or only specific documents?
Restart the Printer and Device:
- Turn off both the printer and the device you're printing from. Wait 30 seconds, then turn them both back on. This can help resolve temporary communication issues.
Check for Connectivity:
- Ensure that the printer is connected properly to your network (if using Wi-Fi) or to your computer (if using USB). For Wi-Fi printers, try printing a network configuration page from the printer to confirm the connection status.
Clear the Print Queue:
- On your computer, go to the printer queue and clear any pending print jobs. Sometimes, a stalled print job can cause issues. Try printing a small document afterward to test if the issue persists.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit HP’s official website to download and install the latest printer drivers for your specific model. Outdated drivers can sometimes lead to communication errors.
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings:
- If using Wi-Fi, reset the network settings on the printer, and reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network. This can help resolve any connection issues.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
