gerneral printer error

Turn the printer on and off - full reset - says "General Printer Error" contact HP support. can't do anything else on the printer

 I'd like to help!

I understand that the error message is stuck on the screen and you are unable to skip it.

So we have to first try a hard reset. Click here to view the video or you may follow the below steps:

1. Power down the printer and then unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall.
2. Wait for a minute, then plug the printer back in.
3. The printer will reset and turn on.
