Brand new out of the box HP Officejet Pro 9015.  When you send something to print it always prints an extra page with this on it:  get /devmgmt/productconfigdyn.xml http/1.1

We have another printer - same model - no problems.

How do we get it to stop printing an extra page with that notation on it?

Hi @jaybirdhawaii,

 I'd like to help!

To better assist you -

1) Does the copy print out the same way?

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Our office is working from home - I'll advise the user your comments.  One thing we noticed is the drivers.  The driver on my laptop is:  HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 series PCL-3.   The drivers that are showing on the users laptop are HP PCL3 A-Size Printer Class Driver.  On the drop-down of available drivers he does not find the one that I'm using.  All the other settings on printer properties - Advanced tab - are the same.   I also found out that he is getting a new HP laptop hopefully in the next week - and hopefully that will solve the issue too.  In our company the computers are "managed" - so we can't download and install drivers.   We have to connect the laptops to the printer and let Windows 10 handle the installation.

So for now .. we're kind of on a pause.  I'll update as soon as I can .. thanks.

Are the printers connected to a server?

And are they remotely accessed?

Let me know!
