Hi @EklavyaBishnoi,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E9 error on your HP Wireless Ink Tank 419 typically indicates a paper jam or an issue with the printer’s internal components. Here’s how to troubleshoot the error and address the paper jam issue:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
2. Check for Paper Jams
- Open the Printer: Open the front and rear access doors to check for any jammed paper.
- Remove Jammed Paper: If you find any stuck paper, carefully remove it. Make sure to pull it in the direction of the paper path to avoid damaging the printer.
- Check the Paper Tray: Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and that the paper guides are snug against the paper.
3. Inspect the Print Path
- Look for any debris or small objects that might be obstructing the print path.
- Use a flashlight if necessary to see inside the printer better.
4. Clean the Rollers
- Over time, dust and debris can accumulate on the paper feed rollers:
- Use a lint-free cloth slightly moistened with water to clean the rollers.
- Allow them to dry completely before closing the printer.
5. Reset Printer Settings
- You can perform a reset on the printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect and power on the printer.
6. Check Ink Levels
- Low ink levels can sometimes cause errors. Check to ensure that all ink tanks are filled and correctly seated.
7. Run Printer Diagnostics
- If your printer has a built-in diagnostic tool, run it to identify any issues:
- This can often be accessed from the printer’s control panel.
8. Update Firmware
- Check for any firmware updates on the HP website or through the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
