My printer has been printing pink streaky bands across entire pages of color printing, in particular areas that should be blue (my daughter just printed a graphic of baby yoda which looks fine but no blue in the graphic...). I added a couple photos-- The bands are about 1 cm in width, horizontal, with like 2 mm strips of the correct color in between each band.
This is the image I printed for the photo of the world- https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71Q5ZhQxgFL._AC_SX679_.jpg
Things I have tried:
1. Firmware/updates are up to date
2. Cyan was replaced first, no improvement. I just replaced Magenta & Yellow today, no improvement. Cyan is at a little under 50% now. Black is fine (black & white printing is fine also)
3. Cleaned printer heads at least 3-4 different times over the last couple months, no improvement.
4. Unplugged & rebooted, etc. no improvement
5. Printed a diagnostic page. the Green bars along the bottom have yellow streaks through them but the rest is fine. This paper says the printheads need to be aligned which I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do via the menu or googling it for this specific model of printer.
6. Printed test page (the one with ABC photo- it is rotated in the photo but is portrait orientation) - the small blue boxes have no pink streaking.
7. Am at a loss here. Any help appreciated!

@ncdel, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I appreciate you performing extensive troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue. To align the printer, follow the steps below-
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu
-
Open the Printer Maintenance or Tools menu.
-
Touch Align Printhead.
An alignment page prints.
-
Wait until the page is out of the printer before you remove it.
If your printer has a scanner, you might see instructions on the alignment page to place the page on the scanner bed and press Scan. Follow the instructions on the alignment page to complete the scan.
Try printing.
If the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
Hope this helps!
