Hi,

For legal-size paper, leave the input tray door open. A portion of the legal-size paper sticks out of the printer.

 

Please follow below steps to load the paper:

https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c05531387

 

When closing the paper tray, be sure to follow the prompt on screen to change the paper size to Legal, as well be sure to select the proper paper size from your computer application.
