bought a new HP envy 7100 photo printer and the color is off. how do i calibrate it.?

I recommend you follow the below steps and align the printer and check if it helps.
Here is how it is done.
Use an automated tool to align the ink cartridges.
- On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup
icon.
- Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.
- Touch Align Cartridges, and then touch Continue.
The printer prints an alignment page. After aligning the ink cartridges, try to print.
