My printer, which is otherwise working wirelessly with my desktop, indicates that the scanner is disabled. Need informaition to enable the printer. Thank you

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

To Enable Scan to computer, you may follow the steps below:

  1. Search Windows for your printer model name, and click the printer name in the list of results. HP Printer Assistant opens.
  2. Click Scanner Actions, and then click Manage Scan to Computer.
  3. Click Enable to activate the scan to computer option.

You can use The HP Smart app includes tools to print, scan, check ink levels, and set up your printer on a wireless network.
