I need to factory reset my dj 3637 in order to start our fresh on a new network with new pc.

I understand that you want to connect your HP DeskJet 3637 All-in-One Printer to a new network and computer.

 

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

 

First, you need to restore the network to defaults on the printer and then connect it to the network.

 

To restore network defaults:

 

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

 

Now you may follow the steps in the link: Wireless Printer Setup (Windows)

 

You may also check page no 74 of the user guide from the link: User Guide

I have the same question and have done what you have suggested:   Hold the cancel and wireless button down for 3 seconds.

 

What are we looking for? it doesn't seem like the device resets or does anything even after holding both buttons for more than 3 seconds?
