Hi @Ladanic03,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I can try a few general troubleshooting steps to address the Printer Failure 0x6100004a error on your HP printer.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This might help reset the printer and clear any temporary issues.
- Check for Paper Jams: Even if you can't see any paper jams, carefully check the paper path, input, and output trays. Ensure there is no small piece of paper stuck that might be causing the error.
- Reset the Printer: Some printers have a reset option in the settings menu. Check your printer's manual to find out how to perform a reset.
- Inspect the Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and are not empty. Sometimes, issues with ink cartridges can trigger errors.
- Manually Move the Carriage: Gently move the ink carriage to the center of the printer. Make sure it moves freely and is not obstructed.
- Update Firmware/Drivers: Check if there are any firmware or driver updates available for your printer on the HP website. Installing the latest updates might resolve compatibility issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
