Hey there! @Januvega, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you would like to know how to reset the printer settings to default.
Don't worry I'll to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Is the printer asking for the wireless network password or the printer control panel settings password?
As you mentioned you would like to know how to restore the printer settings to default.
Try restoring the printer settings to default and check if it helps.
To restore the printer to the original factory defaults
1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the
Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
2. Touch Printer Maintenance.
3. Touch Restore.
4. Touch Restore Factory Defaults.
A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.
5. Touch Continue.
Refer the printer user guide for more information. Link: https://hp.care/2CZrNbT
Note: Refer page 167 for more information.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. Try performing a semi-full reset on your printer and check if it helps.
since the steps to perform a semi-full reset is confidential. I will send you the steps in a private message.
