My Verizon password was changed on my wireless device to obtain WiFi. Later in the day my printer was not being found wireless. Network and password was reset. Still wireless printer can't be found. At one point Verizon tech was able to obtain a connection. This was only a temporary solution . Network went back to old password. After obtaining Internet and wifi a second time on mobile devices and laptop, printer still can't be found. Help!

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Deskjet 2540 printer. I understand that you are unable to setup wireless connection on the printer and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
Restart the computer, printer, and router.
Manually connect the printer to your network.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
Temporarily disable firewall software on the computer.
Uninstall the HP driver and software.
Perform a hard reset on the printer.
- Remove the power cable from the printer when it is turned on.
- Press and hold the power button for 30secs.
- Connect the power cable to the printer and directly to the wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer.
Click here and refer the document to perform the above steps.
Let me know if that helps.
Cheers.
