New HPOfficeJet Pro 9120e printer; installed the SETUP cartridges; error on the Magenta setup cartridge - “The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the printer.  If this problem persists replace the cartridges.” So, I bought a  new cartridge.  That too failed, this time with an error saying only setup cartridges can complete setup, contradicting the error message in quotes above.   I’m in a Catch-22 situation here.  Not good HP.  Please help me out.

The printer should be under warranty, I would suggest you go to Contact Official HP® Support - United Kingdom | HP® Support.  Enter your serial number and select an option to contact an HP Agent.
