Hi @MIchigan2024 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the error code 0xc19a0013 typically points to an issue with the printhead or ink system in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610. If you’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting steps, here are some more in-depth solutions to resolve the problem:

1. Check the Printhead

  • Remove and inspect the printhead: Sometimes, the printhead may not be seated properly. Turn off the printer, open the ink cartridge access door, and carefully remove the printhead. Make sure it’s properly aligned and clean. Look for any visible blockages or damage.
  • Clean the printhead contacts: Use a lint-free cloth or paper towel lightly dampened with water to clean the contacts of the printhead and the area where the printhead sits in the printer. Let it dry completely before reinserting.

2. Reset the Printer

  • Perform a hard reset:
    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
    3. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in.
    4. Turn the printer on and check if the error persists.

3. Reinstall the Printhead

  • Reinstall the printhead: After cleaning, carefully reinstall the printhead, ensuring it clicks into place. Close the printer door and check if the error clears.

4. Check Ink Cartridges

  • Check the ink cartridges: Ensure that all ink cartridges are correctly installed and not empty or leaking. Sometimes, issues with the ink cartridges can cause this error.

5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Update the printer firmware: Go to the HP support page for the OfficeJet Pro 8610 and check if there are any firmware updates available.
  • Reinstall the printer driver: Uninstall the current printer driver from your computer and reinstall it by downloading the latest version from HP’s website.

6. Try a Printhead Replacement

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
