Thanks for engaging in the HP Support Forums! I’d like to help with the printer issue!
Going through your post, I understand that you are not able to print in black with your Deskjet printer. To assist you with this issue, I need to know whether the printer can make a "Photocopy" or not.
Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.
If the copy also comes out without black, then please try the steps listed here: http://hp.care/2sVDCPp
Make sure to clean the ink cartridges as suggested in Step 5.
NB: Deskjet 3755 is a printer model which comes under Deskjet 3700 series. Hence mentioned so in the bottom of the printer.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

1. Product Name and Number (please do not post Serial Number)
• Example: HP Pavilion DV2-1209AX or HP Deskjet 3000 Printer CH393A
2. Operating System installed (if applicable)
• Example: Windows XP, Windows Vista 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
