@bobtail91,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Since your HP DeskJet 2752e has a solid blue light but won’t print from the internet, it means the printer is connected to WiFi but is not communicating properly with your devices. Here are some troubleshooting steps to fix this,

Check Printer Connection

Verify Printer Status:

  • On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners (Windows) or System Preferences > Printers & Scanners (Mac).
  • Check if the HP DeskJet 2752e is listed and set as the default printer.
  • If there is a status like Offline or Not Connected, proceed with reconnecting the printer.

Print Network Configuration Page:

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button (🛜) and Information button (🛈) together until a page prints.
  • Look for the IP Address under the Wireless section.
  • If the IP address is missing or starts with 169.254, the printer is not fully connected to the network.

Restart Printer and Router

  • Power Cycle: Turn off the printer, router, and computer. Wait 2 minutes, then turn them back on.
  • Re-establish the connection:
    • Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons on the printer for 5 seconds until the blue Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
    • Open the HP Smart App on your computer or phone.
    • Select Set up a new printer and follow the instructions to reconnect it.

Check for Driver Issues

  • Windows:
    1. Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click on your printer and select Remove device.
    3. Download and reinstall the latest drivers from HP's website.
  • Mac:
    1. Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    2. Remove the printer, then click Add (+) and re-add the printer.

Try Direct Printing (Bypass Wi-Fi)

  • If nothing works, connect the printer via USB and try printing. If it works via USB but not Wi-Fi, then there’s a network issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
