HP Envy 5544

hi i have a HP Envy 5544 printer, i  installed a new black ink cartridge a few days ago and i keep getting the message, Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed, i have done this a few times and i keep getting the same message. i have also turned on and off the printer, to see if it would clear the message, however when i turn it on again i still keep getting the message.

Hey there! @gus2604,

 

Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?

 

Please share the operating system you are running on your PC to assist you better.

 

Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.

 

Clean the electrical contacts

 

Try updating printer firmware to the latest version and check if it helps.

 

Update the printer firmware using this link. Click Here

 

If you are using regular ink cartridges on your printer, Make sure you use only regular cartridges even if a single cartridge is installed on your printer. You will not be able to print.
