hp envy photo 7855 won't boot up. It’s stuck on the loading screen. I’ve done all the options I’ve read on the forums but nothing has worked. Please help!

If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer is stuck on the loading screen and won't boot up, you can attempt the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord: Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for 60 seconds: Allow the printer to completely power down.
  4. Reconnect the power cord: Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  5. Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Step 2: Check for Firmware Updates

  1. Connect the print: Ensure the printer is connected to a network with internet access.
  2. Check for updates: Access the printer's settings through the control panel touchscreen. Navigate to the setup or settings menu to check for firmware updates.
  3. Install any available updates: Follow the prompts to download and install updates if available.

Step 3: Perform a Semi-Full Reset

  1. Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect all cables: Unplug all cables from the printer, including USB, Ethernet, and phone lines.
  3. Reconnect the power cord: Plug only the power cord back into the printer.
  4. Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer.
  5. Perform on-screen instructions: Follow any on-screen instructions to perform a semi-full reset.
