If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 All-in-One Printer is stuck on the loading screen and won't boot up, you can attempt the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord: Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds: Allow the printer to completely power down.
- Reconnect the power cord: Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer.
Step 2: Check for Firmware Updates
- Connect the print: Ensure the printer is connected to a network with internet access.
- Check for updates: Access the printer's settings through the control panel touchscreen. Navigate to the setup or settings menu to check for firmware updates.
- Install any available updates: Follow the prompts to download and install updates if available.
Step 3: Perform a Semi-Full Reset
- Turn off the printer: Press the power button to turn off the printer.
- Disconnect all cables: Unplug all cables from the printer, including USB, Ethernet, and phone lines.
- Reconnect the power cord: Plug only the power cord back into the printer.
- Turn on the printer: Press the power button to turn on the printer.
- Perform on-screen instructions: Follow any on-screen instructions to perform a semi-full reset.
