Hi @paraoma,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing a margin issue when printing from your HP Ink Tank 315. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue.
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the printer settings are correctly configured for A4 paper size. Go to your printer settings on your computer or the printer's control panel and verify that A4 is selected as the paper size.
- Check the print margins in your document. Sometimes, documents have default margins that might not align with the printer's printable area. Adjust the margins in your document if needed.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
- Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the HP support website, find your printer model, and download the most recent drivers.
- If updating doesn't work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the drivers to reset the settings.
Printer Calibration:
- Perform a printer calibration if your printer has this option. This can help ensure that the printer is aligned correctly and printing to the edges of the paper.
Print Settings in Application:
- When printing from specific applications, check the print settings to ensure they are configured for full-page printing. Sometimes applications have their own print settings that override the default printer settings.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Look for any available firmware updates for your printer. Firmware updates can fix bugs and improve printing performance.
Clean Printheads:
- If there's an issue with the print quality, it might be worth cleaning the printheads. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the printheads.
Since the WPS app prints full pages correctly, it suggests the issue might be related to the specific settings or drivers used in your regular print setup. Checking and adjusting these settings should help resolve the problem.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
