Product: HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw Printer

It does auto duplex fine using 8 1/2 X 11 paper, but when we change the size paper it no longer does auto duplex.

Hi,

Automatic Duplex printing is supported on select paper sizes only (US Letter / A4 sizes), not on any other size.

 

You may find the printer specifications below:

https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c07065750

 

You may perform manual duplexing on custom paper size by selecting Odd Pages only within the Pages to Print setting and complete the print job.

 

Reload the paper with its header into the printer, facing down, then send another print job by selecting Even Pages only this time to print the 2nd side.
