Hello,
Microsoft Word documents are not printing. All is normal when selecting the print option, from the Word menu but nothing happens. I open the print queue, but it is empty.
I am very confused.
I can print PDF's, but only from the HP Smart dashboard.
Please help!
Thank you.

Hi, here are the steps to troubleshoot the issue with your printer:
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure your printer is set as the default printer. Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners and make sure your printer is selected as the default.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause printing issues. Visit the HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer.
Repair Microsoft Office:
- There might be an issue with the Word application itself. Go to Settings > Apps > Microsoft Office and select Modify. Choose Quick Repair first, and if that doesn’t work, try Online Repair.
Print as PDF:
- As a temporary workaround, you can save your Word document as a PDF and print it from the HP Smart dashboard, as you mentioned.
Test with Other Documents:
- Try printing a different Word document or create a new one to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with a specific document or Word in general.
- Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows operating system is up to date, as updates can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.
