hp officejet 100 constant cartridge error light

Hi,

My officejet 100 mobile printer gives a constant black cartridge error light on the front panel. I have cleaned the contacts and replaced the cartridge with no success. The indication is flashing power and black cartridge light that comes on after the printer does its startup sequence. It won't print at all in this state. No other issues. I've done the remove power/battery for 1 minute reset.

Anyone seen this or have any suggestions.
